Wow, I can hardly believe it's that time of year again. I wouldn't have even known it if I hadn't read Debra Morris' blog on the right day. Last year I made it less than halfway through the month, but we'll see if I can do it this year. Of course, I'm also working on doing a face a day, and a photo-a-day project for 2012 as well. Oh, and a photographic scavenger hunt with a deadline of June 2. It's amazing how full the days can get just from doing projects like this!
I'll have to double up posts one of these days to catch up (I like to give each EDM prompt its own post), but I'll get started now with my drawing from May 1.
I sat at my desk and drew the neighbor's tree out the window. For once I made an effort to really see the leaves and not just draw generic leaf-shapes. I tend to get lost in the various overlapping bits and just start drawing randomly to fill in the space out of frustration. I'm pretty pleased with it, though I admit I was glad to see the edges of the paper as it meant my intense concentration could come to an end.
