The prompt I pulled out of the box yesterday was a challenging one to me on the face of it - draw something representing your favorite sport. It's not like I have a lot of sports equipment laying around. Or in fact, any sports equipment laying around.
My two favorite sports are tennis and soccer. I guess I could have grabbed one of the ratty tennis balls that Penny plays with, but I didn't think of that. What I thought of instead was my soccer jersey.
It's the Italian team jersey from the 2006 World Cup. I love Italian soccer - I used to get up early on the weekends to watch Serie A matches, and I try to catch the Champions League games their teams play. I know all the criticisms against the Italian teams and players, but I'd rather watch them and the Spanish any day of the week over the Premier League. (I started to say "and Major League Soccer," and it's true, but MLS is growing on me just by virtue of it being my only opportunity to see live professional matches.)
