Recently Received

It's really nice to hear mail drop in through the mail slot and be excited to go see what's arrived. Not enough people are anxious (in a good way) to see what the mail carrier has brought them. A couple of days at the end of last week brought fun things.

First, I received this gorgeous postcard from Jon Foster, a fellow IUOMA member.

I love things that are just full of details, and this definitely qualifies! Thank you so much, Jon! (Something is making its way to you in return, too ....)

The next day, I got another piece of happy mail. This time it was a postcard from Postcrossing.

These playful foxes arrived here from Finland. If you can believe it, it arrived here in only 6 days' traveling time. The postage stamp on it was round - I wish we had round stamps! If I'm not mistaken, I've also received other interestingly-shaped stamps from Finland. My recently sent postcards on the site are on their way to Germany, Poland and Russia.
