New Year, New Focus

You may or may not have noticed, but I sort of fell off the edge of the internet. I kept thinking about how I should blog, but I never managed to actually open up an entry window. Part of that was because my kids were here at the end of 2012 and beginning of this year, and part of it was due to birthdays and such. Part of it was due to some sort of midwinter blahs. 

But mostly as I said, I just tottered over the edge of the internet. I didn't even read blogs (hello, "1000+" unread items in Google Reader!). A lot of things about my online presence and obligations weren't working for me, so I've had to rethink what I'm going to continue using. If you're curious about where I'll be spending my time, here's the rundown.

Going forward, I'm intending to continue with the following sites:

For art/craft/mail received - this blog

For life in general - my other blog

For photography - Flickr

For mail - Postcrossing and IUOMA

For reading and book reviews - LibraryThing

I don't have a schedule for posting anywhere, but those are the places you can expect to find me.

I'll be catching up on reading blogs, and I'll be posting here to get through the backlog of things I've sent and received.

Thanks, Jeanie, for letting me know that was you! Sometimes the comments show up weird, I don't really know why. Theoretically, you should be able to sign in using Blogger or Google or whatever, or just name/email, but sometimes they still come out wonky.

I try not to completely disappear like that, but it does happen occasionally. I start to forget why I was doing all that work keeping up with things and just drift away. But I'm working my way back now.
